THIEVES – film – November 1st

Mélanie Laurent’s new film is a hyper-effective action thriller around a gang of gifted burglars, in the pay of a certain “Godmother” played by Isabelle Adjani. Pure entertainment carried by an excellent trio Adèle Exarchopoulos, Mélanie Laurent and Manon Bresch.

ALL THE LIGHT WE CANNOT SEE – series – November 2

The director of Stranger Things And Adam through time signs a much more dramatic mini-series, taking us back to the 1940s and telling the story of Marie-Laure, a blind French teenager, and Werner, a German soldier, whose paths cross in occupied France. A moving adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning book by Anthony Doerr, with Mark Ruffalo.

SLY – Documentary – November 3

Actor, screenwriter, director and producer, he has left his mark on the history of cinema. However, its rise will not be without perils or without competition. Sylvester Stallone tells his story and looks back on his journey in this documentary to his glory, produced by him.

THE KILLER – film – November 10

We are coming to the end of the reign of Elizabeth II and the best Netflix series. But before entering the 21st century, the sovereign must deal with the death of her former daughter-in-law. Lady Di kills herself under the Alma bridge and the crown still wavers… Part 2 will be released in December.

NEW RICH – film – November 17

The En Passant Pécho team returns with a huge cast. Guillaume Canet, Kenza Fortas and Gustave Kervern will appear in this offbeat comedy by Julien Royal (yes, the son of François Hollande and Ségolène Royal), back with Nassim Lyes (recently seen in Farang) in the main role of Youssef, a scam pro who, during a poker game that goes wrong for him, meets Stéphanie, a crypto millionaire played by Zoé Marchal (Skam).

SCOTT PILGRIM TAKES FLIGHT – animated series – November 17

Michael Cera and the entire cast of Edgar Wright’s cult film will be back to remake the comics in animated version in this new iteration with an already pleasing aesthetic.

LEO – film – November 21

He is 74 years old and he has done nothing with his life and it depresses him. The story of an old lizard, locked in a classroom for decades, voiced by Adam Sandler. A fun animated film for the whole family.

SQUID GAME, THE CHALLENGE – reality TV – November 22

Sold as the biggest jackpot in television history, reality TV Squid Game will put 456 participants in competition who will compete to win the sum of 4.56 million dollars… And as in the sordid bloody series, they will have to go through merciless elimination rounds. A priori, this time, no one is going to die.

VIRGIN RIVERseason 5 (part 2) – series – November 30

It will float like an air of joy and celebration on Virgin River. Netflix has saved two episodes from season 5 for a special second part, which will be released just before the holiday season. A very “Merry Christmas” moment for the soap.
