28 Years Later will be released in cinemas next summer
Sony has already dated this sequel worn by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer and Ralph Fiennes.
Danny Boyle failed to turn the James Bond of his dreams. The ex-Kick Ass, currently showing in The Fall Guywill also be surrounded by Jodie Comer (The Last Duel). Cillian Murphythe star of the first film, is an executive producer, his participation as an actor has not yet been confirmed.
Barely confirmed by Sony Pictures, the studio announces that the film will be released on June 20, 2025 At the movie theater. We will therefore not wait quite 28 years between the first part, on screens in 2002, and this third opus… This date in any case suggests that its filming is imminent.
The plot of 28 Years Later is obviously kept secret, but it is once again written by Alex Garland. Danny Boyle will direct the first film of this new trilogyand its sequel could be directed by Nia DaCosta (The Marvels). As for 28 weeks later (2007), which was no longer designed by the British filmmaker, but by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.
