47 Meters Down: the shark film phenomenon returns to TV this evening

When Under the Seine a hit on Netflixanother memorable shark film from recent years returns to the small screen. 47 Meters Down will be offered at 9:05 p.m. on TFX, this Friday evening.
Released in June 2017 in the United States, 47 Meters Down brought in 44 million dollars, for a budget of only 5 million. A success which can be explained by the effectiveness of its pitch: two sisters, Lisa (Mandy Moore) and Kate (Claire Holt) are on vacation in Mexico to go scuba diving, in a cage, to observe sharks. And guess what? The ascent mechanism jams and they are stuck at a depth of 47 meters, at the mercy of sharks, with one hour of oxygen in their bottles…
