A biopic on Elon Musk… directed by Darren Aronofsky!

Will the controversial boss of Twitter and Tesla be entitled to his film?

After David Fincher who brings Mark Zuckerberg to life, After Danny Boyle who does his Steve Jobs, does Darren Aronofsky will canonize Elon Musk on the big screen?

A project is indeed under development at A24, Variety confirms today.

Walter Isaacson’s authorized biography of the tech mogul, published last September, will serve as the basis for the screenplay. Isaacson had previously written the book on which the movie Jobs was based, starring Michael Fassbender as the Apple CEO.

The A24 studio would have won a tough auction to win the rights to the book and Darren Aronofskydirector of The Whale (2023), Requiem for a Dream (2000) or Black Swan (2010), would be up for directing the biopic.

Let us remember thatElon Musk made his name by founding SpaceX, a spacecraft manufacturing company, in 2002. He then invested in Tesla, and more recently, he bought Twitter for $44 billion, renaming it richest person in the world, with Bloomberg and Forbes estimating his net worth at more than $200 billion as of October.
