A fake advertising spot “too patriotic” as a new teaser for The Boys season 4

The video is published by Vought, the company managing the superheroes in the series.

After the spin-off series Gen V, The Boys is preparing to return to streaming for a highly anticipated fourth season. A new teaser has been released, in the form of a false advertisement “considered too patriotic to be broadcast on TV” according to the description of post X, on the official Vought account.

Vought is the fictional multinational corporation that manages superheroes, their image and their careers and operates them as a brand or franchise. The fake advert is the prerogative of the stereotypical United States: American football, horses, the military, the police and a good cold drink to quench your thirst. Here, it’s Turbo Rush, a drink sponsored by A-Train, the superhero gifted with superhuman speed played by Jessie Usher.

Using the same satirical tone as the series, this teaser ad mixes false images of pro-American propaganda and some sequences from previous seasons. The voice-over does not skimp on the greatness of the USA and its everyday heroes, namely the soldiers, firefighters and law enforcement. In an orgy of symbols referring to American imperialism, the teaser prepares us for a season 4 which promises to be completely diabolical! It should be released in 2024 on Amazon Prime Video.

“I can’t believe it happened…”: season 4 of The Boys will be even crazier!
