A new Prison Break series, with a new escape and a new cast

New prisoners for a new story included in the original universe.

Michael Scofield has finished escaping and freeing his brother. prison Break should indeed make its return, but without the iconic duo. A new series set in the universe of the hit series is officially in preparation at Hulu (a Disney platform).

Deadline reports that it is described as “a new chapter”. It should not include Wentworth Millerneither Dominic Purcell to the casting. We don’t know more at the moment.

Will the new characters have a connection to Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows? Or with Sara? We can just assume that this will be another escape story.

This spin-off will be written and produced by showrunner Elgin James, who co-created Mayans MCthe series derived from Sons of Anarchywhich has just ended across the Atlantic.

Created by Paul Scheuring, the series prison Break began in 2005. Ended after 4 seasons and a TV movie in 2009, it was entitled to an unconvincing comeback a decade later, with a season 5 in 9 episodes broadcast in 2017.
