A return of Seinfeld? Jerry Seinfeld announces that “something is coming”

The actor made an announcement on stage in Boston on Saturday evening.

It was the most watched series of its time, in the 1990s. More than EMERGENCIES or even Friends. And on May 14, 1998, 76 million Americans were in front of their small screens to see “The Finale”, the last episode of Seinfeld. A widely criticized finale which did not really please everyone. To the point of being reviewed and corrected 25 years later?

This is what was suggested Jerry Seinfeld, last Saturday, on stage in Boston. Speaking with the public around the end of the series, he spoke of “a little secret” and revealed: “Something is going to happen related to this ending…“

And he concludes: “What you’re thinking about, Larry (David) and I have been thinking about it too, so you’ll see…”

The two creators of Seinfeld did they plan to make another ending? We don’t know yet if Jerry is teasing a reunion show (a la Friends) or a full-fledged return of the series. But something is up.
