Ahmed Sylla and Hakim Jemili reverse roles in the trailer for Here and There

The two comedians meet for a tour of the French region in Ludovic Bernard's new family comedy.

Having lived in Senegal for 15 years, Adrien leads a peaceful life alongside his partner Aminata. When he is sent back to France for a visa problem, he arrives at Sékou, a distant cousin of his wife, who works as a salesman in Paris. Forced by his boss to go to the regions to meet clients, Sékou has no other choice but to take this funny cousin on a tour of France which has many surprises in store for them.

Presented in the official selection of the Alpes d'Huez Festival, Here and there sees the formation of the unique duo ofAhmed Sylla And Hakim Jemili in a colorful painting of France, its regions and its different cultures. In this comedy with a message, the looks of their two characters question the notions of foreigners and integration through the prism of tender situational humor.

Last year, Ludovic Bernard was going out 10 more days without mom, sequel to the first part released in 2020, and in which he continued to overturn traditional family roles. This time, the director, who in the meantime worked on the series Lupine, returns to break social codes and conventions, this time tackling cultural and racist clichés. He reunites with Ahmed Sylla, headliner of his very first solo film, The Ascension.

This is also the second film in which the actor plays this year after Like a prince of Ali Marhyar. As for Hakim Jemili, he is making his comeback to the cinema after a busy year 2023, notably through Preserve of Frédéric Forestier And Antonin Fourlonand by a role in Tapiethe Netflix series carried by Laurent Lafitte.

Here and there will be released in theaters on April 17, 2024.
