A new police comedy also starring Ramzy Bedia.
Two months later A Stunning Christmas, which brought together Eric Judo and Ragnar Le Breton, the new French comedy from Amazon is revealed. And it will still be a duo, since Alice Pol (Raid Dingue, Head in the stars) And Shirine Boutella (Lupin, Miskina) will be two policewomen who are completely opposed in Mermaids. Natacha Lindinger and Ramzy Bedia complete the cast.
“Alison Flesh, a rebellious and uncontrollable police captain, is forced by her superior, Commissioner Djiba, to work in tandem with Leïla Balani, an expert in criminology but useless in the field. On the trail of a serial killer in Nice, Flesh and Balani go having to team up even if it means turning over the entire Riviera.”
The film was co-written by Carine Prevot (Family Business) and Adeline Picault, with the collaboration of Stéphane Kazandjian (Taxi 5, Far from the ring road) and directed by Adeline Picault (Did you fish?).
Mermaids will launch exclusively on Prime Video in France on March 15, 2024.
