All the Light We Cannot See: The Heartbreaking Trailer

Mark Ruffalo alight All the light we can’t see. Netflix today released a brand new trailer for its historic series, produced by Shawn Levy (Stranger Things And Deadpool 3). A great dramatic saga, adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning book by Anthony Doerr, which promises to be moving, judging by this trailer which takes us back to the 1940s, to the time of the Occupation. The paths of Marie-Laure, a blind French teenager, and Werner, a German soldier, will cross in occupied France.

She is the very young American novice Aria Mia Lobertiwho will play Marie-Laure, opposite the German actor from Darkthe excellent Louis Hofman. The cast is completed by Mark Ruffalo And Hugh Laurie, as well as Lars Eidinger and Marion Bailey. It is Steven Knightthe creator of Peaky Blinderswho wrote the screenplay.

All the light we can’t see is “a profound reflection on the power of human relationships” ensures the synopsis. “In this mini-series, we follow throughout a decade the intertwined destinies of two heroes whose lives will be turned upside down by the Second World War: Marie-Laure Leblanc, a young blind French woman who takes refuge with her uncle, and Werner Pfennig, a German teenager who is a true genius in radio transmissions. Through a shared secret bond, they regain faith in humanity and see a glimmer of hope.

All the light we can’t see will be uploaded to Netflix on November 2, 2023.
