An insane casting for a lit trailer: season 5 of Fargo promises

Jon Hamm and Juno Temple will star in this crazy new noir thriller.

Your wife is not who she says she is.”. Fargo will be back in great shape! Three years after its last story – which went relatively unnoticed – the criminal anthology vaguely inspired by the Coen Brothers will return to the air for a season 5 which promises to be delightful, judging by this trailer where shine Jon Hamm And Juno Temple.

The story takes place in Minnesota and North Dakota in 2019. After a series of unexpected events, Dorothy “Dot” Lyon (Juno Temple) finds himself in trouble, hunted down by the authorities. This seemingly typical Midwestern housewife suddenly finds herself thrust back into a life she thought she had left behind…

North Dakota Sheriff Roy Tillman (Jon Hamm) has been searching for Dot for a long time. A rancher, preacher, and constitutional lawyer, Roy believes he is the law and is therefore above the law. At his side is his loyal but blameless son, Gator (Joe Keery from Stranger Thingsunrecognizable), who is desperate to prove himself to his father.

This gallery of characters will be completed by Dot’s kind husband, aka Wayne (David Rysdahl) and his mother Lorraine (Jennifer Jason Leigh), as well as Minnesota Police Deputy Indira Olmstead (played by Richa Moorjani from My First Times), and by North Dakota Deputy Witt Farr (played by Lamorne Morris from New Girl).

Season 5 of Fargo will be released on Tuesday, November 21 in the United States on the FX channel. In France, the series was broadcast by Salto in 2020. Before that, it was Netflix which broadcast the first three seasons. We do not yet know who will offer season 5 of Fargo at our place.
