Anatomy of a fall adapted into series? “There are wishes, we are safe from nothing”
Antoine Reinatz reveals that Justine Triet’s film is not safe from being “franchised”.
When Anatomy of a fall is in the running for five Oscars, and its director has just signed with the big American star agency the CAA, Antoine Reinartz just revealed on the set of Click that Justine Triet and her team had been approached to turn the concept of this investigation and trial film into a TV series.
When Mouloud Achour, the presenter of the flagship Canal + show, told him that“Anatomy of a fall will never be a franchise”the interpreter of the terrible attorney general who faces Sandra Hüller and Swann Arlaud in the film responds: “Oh. There is a desire to buy back the rights to make a series. I don’t know what they want to do with it, and I don’t know if it will happen because there is also a desire behind to accept or not depending on the project, but ‘It will never be a franchise’ ? We are safe from nothing!”
