Anatomy of a Fall, Miraculous, Les Filles d’Olfa… The list of French Film Trophies
Justine Triet continues her collection of awards by receiving the Personality of the Year Trophy.
The French Film Trophies ceremony was held on the evening of February 6. The professional magazine The French Film is at the origin of the event to highlight certain sectors of the industry. Among the films nominated there was obviously Anatomy of a fallbut also The Animal Kingdom, Dog of the breakage, Olfa’s daughters or Asterix and Obelix: The Middle Kingdom.
Several celebrities walked the red carpet: Guillaume Canetcomfortable and relaxed, Olga Kurylenko and his princely appearance, Paul Kircher and his mentor Thomas Cailleyas well as Justine Triet happy to be nominated and still unaware of her imminent victory. Special mention to Raphaël Quenardwho steals the show and plays the game with the different media present, always ready to put on a show!
The big winner of the ceremony is none other than Justine Triet and his film Anatomy of a fall. The team received a first award, the Cinema Director-Producer Duo Trophy, awarded to the director and her producers Marie-Ange Luciani, David Thion And Philip Martin. Later, the filmmaker was crowned Personality of the Year by Le Film Français.
The singer and inveterate film buff Eddie Mitchell was awarded the Accuracy Honorary Trophy, to reward all his initiatives linked to the Seventh Art, the best known of which remains his famous show La Dernier Séance. AlongsideAnatomy of a fallthis is the production team of Rapture who received the Cinema Revelation Duo Trophy, awarded to Iris Kaltenbäckthe director, Alice Bloch And Thierry De Clermont-Tonnerrethe producers.
Little surprise of the evening, the animated film Miraculous – The Movieof Jeremy Zag leaves with two prizes: the Unifrance Trophy, which rewards the French film having attracted the greatest number of spectators in theaters abroad, and the Trophy for the first work.
The ceremony also rewards television fiction. The mini-series Black Heart and the TV movie Snow respectively received the Duo Audiovisual Fiction Trophy and the Unitary Fiction Trophy.
Asterix and Obelix: The Middle Kingdomof Guillaume Canet was honored with the French Film Trophy and Super Mario Bros, the movie won the Trophy of Trophies: two prizes directly linked to their big box office recorded in France. The documentary of Kaouther Ben Hania Olfa’s daughters was rewarded with the SCAM documentary film trophy and Florence Passalacqua received the Deluxe France Trophy from the operator. This distinction rewards the work of the operator for her Le Rivoli cinema in Carpentras.
