The actor announces that he has completed filming for season 2, delayed by the screenwriters’ strike in Hollywood in 2023.

He is officially done with Andor. Diego Luna has just announced that it has completed filming for season 2, which took longer than expected due to the Hollywood strike last year.

In an Instagram post, the actor announced that Friday was the last day of production. Diego Luna also speaks of “last day of filming for Andor“, seeming to confirm that the series will end there and will not have a season 3.

Diego Luna took the opportunity to congratulate the “more than 700 people” who worked on the series. “Today I am beyond grateful to the entire team for this incredible experience and years of hard work. THANK YOU for the love and this wonderful experience. See you soon.”

As for broadcasting, it won’t be right away. In 2024, Disney Plus will broadcast two series Star Wars: The Acolyte And Skeleton Crew. Season 2 ofAndor will wait until 2025.
