Arcs 2023: Ruben Östlund guest of honor at the festival
The director with two Palmes d’Or will also be patron of the Industry Village and will give a masterclass at the Les Arcs 2023 European film festival.
His last two films earned him two Palmes d’Or: The Square in 2017, and Without filter in 2022. The Swedish director Ruben Ostlund will return to the Festival des Arcs this year (he was president of the festival jury in 2018) to give a masterclass and sponsor the Talent Village, a program specifically designed to support European filmmakers wanting to move from short to feature film
The director had shot his Snow Therapy (2014) in the Les Arcs station. The 15th edition of the European Film Festival will be held from December 16 to 23, and its jury will be chaired by the director Asghar Farhadi (A separation).

Östlund is currently preparing his next film, The Entertainment System is Down, which will take place on a plane and where he will find Woody Harrelson.
