Avatar: impressive new images from The Last Airbender
Netflix unveils a final trailer focused on King Bumi.
A few days before the release of the live action version on Netflix, Avatar: The Last Airbender unveils impressive new images, through a brand new spectacular trailer.
The video highlights King Bumi, one of fans’ favorite characters. With his eccentric personality and incredible earthbending skills, he will be one of Aang’s masters. It is played by Utkarsh Ambudkar (Pitch Perfect) in this flesh-and-blood version.
He is the master of all four elements. The savior of the world.

Aang will be played by Gordon Cormier while Tamlyn Tomita will play Yukari. Finally, the former of Lost, Daniel Dae Kim, will play the villainous Lord Ozai of the Fire Tribe.
The synopsis: “In the past, when the Avatar who mastered the four elements ensured peace between the nations of the world, they lived in harmony. But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked and wiped out the Air Nomads, marking the first phase of the firebenders’ conquest of the world. A young air nomad named Aang wakes up in a world ravaged by war. With his new friends Sokka and Katara, he embarks on an epic journey full of twists and turns to take his rightful place as the next Avatar.”
Albert Kim (Sleepy Hollow, Nikita) is the showrunner. At his side, Dan Lin (The Lego Great Adventure, Aladdin) and Lindsey Liberatore (Walker) of Rideback executive produce, as does Michael Goi (Swamp Thing, American Horror Story).
Series Avatar: The Last Airbender is directed by Jabbar Raisani and Jet Wilkinson. Released February 22 on Netfix.
