Ben Affleck will return to play Mr Wolff 2 in 2024
The actor will bring out his intellectual glasses for the sequel to The Accountant.
8 years ago, Ben Affleck arrived at the cinema in the shoes of Mr Wolff. A mathematical genius, independent accountant for dangerous criminal organizations… It’s been a few years since a series of The Accountant is in the pipeline. And this time, here it is: Mr Wolff 2 will begin filming in 2024.
According to Deadline, the original director, Gavin O’Connorwill be back behind the camera.
“What fascinates me is that most franchises are taken from licenses that people know, based on comics or books or superheroes. There, it’s completely original and that’s what I loved”, O’Connor said at the time. Franchise Mr Wolff will therefore be able to come to life.
We do not yet know if Anna Kendrick or JK Simmons, present in 2016, will return to the cast.
Mr Wolff 2 does not yet have a release date.
