Ben Mendelsohn will return to Star Wars for Andor season 2

The Death Star engineer returns! Ben Mendelsohn will officially resume his role as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in the highly anticipated season 2 ofAndorthe Disney Plus series (after returning to give voice briefly in the animated series The Bad Batch Last year).

In Rogue One, he played the big bad Orson Krennic, an army officer and director of advanced weapons research for the Galactic Empire. He oversaw the construction of the famous Death Star, known for its ability to destroy planets.

A logical return, since Diego Luna said recently (during Superhero Comic Con 2024) that the second and final part of‘Andor would bridge the gap with the 2016 film: “I can tell you that Rogue One is coming, so there will be characters you will recognize…”

Still no release date for season 2 of Andor on Disney Plus.
