After Lambert Wilson in 1989, it is now the turn of Benjamin Lavernhe to embody theAbbot Pierre, an internationally renowned character who dedicated his life to the weakest. In this new biopic, the Comédie Française actor reveals the character behind this name adopted underground in the middle of the world war. Born into a wealthy family, Henri Grouès was a resistance fighter, deputy, defender of the homeless, revolutionary and iconoclast. Many labels whose trailer gives a first look.
Directed by Frédéric Tellier, who signed Goliath in 2022 and Save or perish tent in 2018, ne “didn’t want to make a hagiography”. “He really wanted to go into the depths of who this guy was, his hypersensitivity, his torments, his hyper empathy.
