Beverly Hills Cop 4 has a release date, on Netflix

Axel F is going to set the summer on fire.

Exactly 30 years later, Axel Foley is back in action. While Beverly Hills Cop 3 had attracted 2 million French people to theaters during the summer of 1994, the sequel will delight Netflix subscribers in the summer of 2024.

The streaming platform announces that Beverly Hills Cop 4subtitle Axel Fwill be posted online on Wednesday July 3, 2024. Along the way, we are entitled to a new, unpublished photo:

“When the life of his daughter (Taylour Paige) is threatened, he teams up with her, a new recruit (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and his old comrades Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to take pump up the adrenaline and uncover a conspiracy” announces the synopsis.

Yes, Taggart and Rosewood will also be back. Obviously, they have aged a little, since Judge Reinhold is 65 years old and John Ashton 74 years old. Beverly Hills Cop 4 will also bring back Paul Reiser, in the shoes of Axel Foley’s friend from Detroit, Inspector Jeffrey Friedman, who has obviously managed to move up in rank!

Finally, in the casting, it is Kevin Bacon who should play the bastards (for a change) and play the badass and bad boy rogue cop.
