Black Mirror will continue: a season 7 is already in progress

Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones will be back at the helm.

Even if season 6 was very uneven, even if Charlie Brooker sometimes seems to rehash the same themes, Black Mirror remains a sure bet on the small screen and Variety announces that the sci-fi series will return for a 7th season.

No casting has yet been announced, but season 7 should enter production before the end of the year. The duo Charlie Brooker / Annabel Jones, accompanied by Jessica Rhoades, will be back at the helm. It is not known how many episodes will be filmed.

But we understand that Netflix does not want to leave too much time between two bursts of Black Mirror, as was the case for season 6 which took 4 years to come to fruition. It was released last June and was a hit on the platform for a good part of the summer.

Season 7 will probably arrive in 2025.
