Blonde's Revenge series: Prime Video will adapt Legally Blonde

Reese Witherspoon will be there…at least behind the scenes.

It’s a franchise that has grossed nearly $300 million worldwide at the cinema! The saga Legally Blonde goes to the small screen, twenty after the release of the second opus in theaters. Amazon will adapt the classic worn by Reese Witherspoon serial.

Prime Video is developing this television sequel, which will see Reese Witherspoon come back… as a producer. For the moment, we know absolutely nothing about the plot and therefore we do not know if this series Blonde's Revenge will once again focus on Elle Woods, with Reese Witherspoon back to the cast, or if the story will be about a completely different blonde.

We just know that the showrunners of Gossip Girl Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are writing the series and Witherspoon will be very active in development. She is also working in parallel on a second television spin-off, but which is still only an idea.

Franchise Legally Blonde has been on standby for years and its adaptation into a musical on Broadway.

A movie Legally Blonde 3 has been in the works for years, with Mindy Kaling and Dan Goor writing the script, but has yet to be confirmed. We do not know if this new Prime Video series will replace the project…
