Bob Marley sings “One Love” in the trailer for his biopic

Barbie actor Kingsley Ben-Adir steps into the shoes of the Reggae icon.

After the life ofElvis last year, it was that of Bob Marley which is told in a new biopic, which will recount the journey and work of the Reggae icon, opposed to the conflicts which plagued his native Jamaica.

It is Kingsley Ben Adir who will put himself in the shoes of the singer, and the British actor of The O.A. And Secret Invasion (recently encountered in barbie) will try to cultivate the resemblance, even in the accent.

“one Love celebrates the life and music of an icon who inspired generations through his message of love and unity” tease the synopsos. “For the first time on the big screen, discover the powerful story of Bob Marley, his resilience in the face of adversity, the path that led him to his revolutionary music.

At the casting, Lashana Lynch (Dying can wait) will play his wife Rita.

Bob Marley: One Love will be released on Wednesday February 14, 2024.
