Bridgerton season 4 won't arrive until 2026
The showrunner confirms that it will still take time before the series returns to Netflix.
You have time to watch the last four episodes of season 3 of The Bridgerton Chronicles. While part 2 has just been posted online, we learn that it will be followed by a long hiatus.
The next love story Bridgerton won't happen for a few years, according to the showrunner Jess Brownell.
“We're working to try to get the seasons out there faster, but it takes eight months to film, then you have to edit them, then dub them into all the languages“, she explains to the Hollywood Reporter. “And writing also takes a lot of time, so we're kind of on a two-year pace. We're trying to speed it up, but we'll be somewhere in that range.”
Indeed, the first season of Bridgerton dates back to 2020, followed by season 2 two years later in 2022, and season 3 waited until 2024. We will therefore have to wait two more years to see what happens next. Season 4 of Bridgerton will not be released before 2026.
This is also why Netflix launched a spin-off on the Queen Charlottein 2023, in order to fill the gap between two seasons.
