Cameron Diaz comes out of retirement for Back in Action: first images from the Netflix film
In this action comedy, she will play a former spy who became a mother.
This is a film that was certainly not titled randomly. Back in Action will mark the great return of Cameron Diaz, 8 years after his last role. She had put her career on hold for her family and her child. Here she comes out of her early retirement for this Netflix action comedy in which she will star Jamie Foxx. Chance or coincidence, it is precisely in the face of Jamie Foxxin 2014, in the remake ofAnniethat Cameron Diaz had delivered his last performance.
Back in Action will be directed by Seth Gordon from a screenplay he wrote with Brendan O’Brien.

And judging by the first images revealed by Netflix (see the video below), we will really be following the analogy to the end, since Cameron Diaz will play a CIA spy, who stopped her career to raise her two children with her husband (also a spy). But they will be forced to return to service and get back into action! Did you understand the parallel?
Andrew Scott and Kyle Chandler will also be in the cast.
No release date yet. Back in Action will be released in 2024 on Netflix.
