Charlie Kaufman does his Dreamworks: trailer for Orion on Netflix
A family film so your children will never be afraid of the dark again.
It’s not quite the kind he had accustomed us to. The author of In the shoes of John Malkovichof Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and more recently I just want to end it, launches into cartoons for the whole family. He wrote the screenplay and the tender story of Orion and the Darka tender fantasy tale about a little boy who is afraid of everything, especially the dark.
A nice Dreamworks Animation film, by the producers of the saga Dragonsworn by Jacob Tremblay in the role of Orion. Paul Walter Hauser will be The Dark, incarnation of “Black”, who will take little Orion through the world of the night, to make him understand that he has no reason to be afraid. Werner Herzog will also be in the cast.
Orion and the Dark is directed by Sean Charmatz. Released in February 2024 on Netflix.
