Chris Columbus reportedly “begged” Donald Trump to appear on Mom, I Missed the Plane Again
The ex-president denies the director’s previous statements, who say he insisted on making a cameo in the film.

We all remember the cameo of Donald Trump in the second part, 30 years ago, when it still seemed unthinkable that he would one day become president of the leading world power. Donald Trump denied this statement on social networks, affirming on the contrary that these are Chris Columbus and the producers of the film who would have “begged” to make a cameo: “Director Chris Columbus, and others, begged me to do a cameo in Mom, I missed the plane again. They rented the Plaza Hotel in New York, which I owned at the time. I was very busy and didn’t want to do it. They were very kind, but above all, very insistent. I accepted and the rest is history.”
