Christopher Nolan is a fan of The Curse: “I’ve never seen that on television!”

The director is full of praise for the series by Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie.

Those who kept their eyes wide open until the last trippy episode know… The Curse was undoubtedly one of the slaps in the face of the end of 2023. The “cringe” comedy carried by Emma Stone has established itself as a separate object on the small screen. And even Christopher Nolan says it!

The director of Oppenheimer moderated a session this weekend The Cursewith the creators Nathan Fielder And Benny Safdie (which plays incidentally in Oppenheimer). Heaps praise on the series, Christopher Nolan went so far as to compare the shock The Curse to that of Twin Peaks (by David Lynch) in the early 1990s.

“Congratulations on an incredible series that is unlike anything I have ever seen on television before.”

The filmmaker continues and details his thoughts: “There are truly few series that are so unique and have absolutely no equivalent. You have to go back to productions like Twin Peaks or The Prisoner, things like that… You really created an incredible work and I can’t wait to see the end.” concludes the director.
