Clive Owen becomes Sam Spade: trailer

The Maltese Falcon detective returns in an event series, Mr. Spade.

He is a legendary cinema detective who returns to service, a century later. Clive Owen will be Sam Spade in a brand new event mini-series, Mister Spadefor which we are discovering the trailer today, which takes place largely in France.

The story will follow a mysterious young boy sought by powerful organizations, including the CIA and the Vatican. The American detective will have to postpone his retirement in France to solve the case.

Created, written and produced by Scott Frank, the creator of Queen’s game from Netflix, with the excellent Tom Fontana (OZ), Mr. Spade is inspired by the hero of Maltese Falconthe 1930 novel by American writer Dashiell Hammett, made legendary on film thanks to Humphrey Bogart.

Alongside Owen, we will see the French in the casting Dennis Ménochet, Louise Bourgoin, Jonathan Zaccai And Chiara Mastroiannias well as the little Cara Bossom.
