Colman Domingo to play Michael Jackson’s tyrannical father

The Fear the Walking Dead and Euphoria actor will play Joe Jackson in the biopic which will begin filming.

Michael Jackson never hid it: he was terrified of his father, to the point of “vomit before seeing him”, as he confided to Oprah Winfrey in 1993. “But I love him, I forgive him…” Joe Jackson was an authoritarian head of the family, who transformed his children into singing stars from a very young age.

And the biopic Michael will obviously return to the young years of the future King of Pop, his Jackson Five years, under the aegis of the paterfamilias. While Juliano Valdi will play the little one Michael JacksonIt is Colman Domingo who just signed to play Joe Jackson.

The actor of Fear the Walking Dead And Euphoriarecently nominated for an Oscar for Rustinwill play the controversial father of the siblings.

Jaafar Jackson will in fact embody Michael Jackson in the film written by John Logan and directed by Antoine Fuqua, and which should be simply titled Michael. Theatrical release in 2025.
