Courteney Cox could reunite with Neve Campbell in Scream 7

According to Variety, the former Friends is in advanced discussions to return to play Gale Weathers, the journalist who covered the Greensboro murders at the time of the first part (1996). She will therefore find Campbell and Kevin Williamsonoriginal screenwriter of the saga, who will become director for Scream 7.

I never imagined it would become such a phenomenon, or that I would be directing the seventh installment in the franchise. We don't know the story yet, but it wouldn't be surprising if the plot returns to Greensboro, after his New York escapade. Scream 7 does not yet have a release date.
