Criminal Minds: Evolution returns to Paramount Plus for a season 2 which promises to be very exciting.

Even darker and more disturbing since it went to streaming on Paramount Plus, the franchise Criminal minds prepares its return with season 2 of Criminal Minds: Evolutionwhich will technically be season 17 of the saga.

After facing Elias Voit in season 1, the BAU's elite profilers will have to call on him to track down another hyper-dangerous psychopathic serial killer. Veterans ofCriminal minds Paget Brewster (as Emily Prentiss), Joe Mantegna (David Rossi), AJ Cook (JJ Jareau), Kirsten Vangsness (Penelope Garcia), Aisha Tyler (Dr. Tara Lewis) and Adam Rodriguez (Luke Alvez) will return . Marvel actor Clark Gregg, formerly of Agents of SHIELD, will now lead the FBI.

The new season picks up as the team investigates “thehe mystery of Gold Star. The BAU runs into an unexpected complication when Voit negotiates a deal that transfers him to federal custody. Only two weeks have passed since Voit's capture, leaving Prentiss with only a little time “to sort of figure out what's going on with this Gold Star mystery…”

Season 2 of Criminal Minds: Evolution will begin on Thursday June 6 with its first two episodes. There will be 10 of them.
