Cruella 2: Emma Stone gives news of the sequel

“It’s in development,” announces the actress honored last night for Poor Creatures at the Golden Globes.

In 2021, Emma Stone transformed into Cruella in a live-action spin-off of 101 Dalmatians. The film by Craig Gillepsie (Me, Tonya) had seduced the French public by accumulating 1,417,079 entries in the summer of 2021. Questioned by Variety at the Palm Springs International Festival, the star remains vague about the project but assures that she would like filming to begin.as soon as possible”.

To the question concerning the existence of a scenario, Emma Stone takes a pinch of salt and declares that it is “of work in development“, without giving further details. “We’ll see. (…) She is awesome” she adds when talking about the character of Cruella. No further information on the film’s release date or terms has been released.
