Deadpool & Wolverine: Wade Wilson comes to save the MCU in a very exciting trailer
The first images of Deadpool 3 were revealed during the Super Bowl, and they look very promising.
Deadpool 3 is an event in more than one way. First foray of the character of Wade Wilson into the MCUfollowing the acquisition of Fox by Disney, it will be the studio’s only film to be released in theaters this year. With the heavy task of saving Marvel (just that), after the huge flop of The Marvels, last November. But the crazy superhero played by Ryan Reynolds is it soluble in the policed universe of Disney?
The first trailer for the film, whose title will therefore be Deadpool & Wolverine, seems to indicate that the answer is yes. From the first sequence, where Wade’s birthday is interrupted by TVA agents armed with batons, the tone is set: “Strap-on dildos aren’t new to me, buddy, but they are to Disney.“.
Dead Pool will therefore integrate the MCU (“It’s your change to be a hero among heroes“), and it really excites him (“Your little cinematic universe will never be the same again“). Still as meta, still as bloody, still as vulgar, the masked hero intends to retain his DNA. Even if the classification of the film has not yet been determined.
And Wolverine in all of that ? Hugh Jackman only appears furtively in this first trailer, and that’s not bad. Between now and the film’s release on July 24, the promo will have plenty of time to reveal more. Especially since Jennifer Garner will also be back as Elektra!
