Hear, Hear! Come listen to the imaginary adventures of Dick Turpin ! Apple TV+ unveils the trailer for its brand new historical series. A costume comedy, inspired by Richard Dick Turpin (born in 1705), a highwayman who curiously became a legend, hero of English ballads and in the popular theater of the following centuries.

Very famous in popular culture across the Channel, it is brought to the screen by Noel FieldingBritish comedian, best known for being the co-host of the hit show The Great British Bake Off.

In The Imaginary Adventures of Dick Turpinthe hero “embarks on a series of absurd adventures by becoming the unwilling leader of a band of outlaws, responsible for foiling the plans of a corrupt lawman and self-proclaimed bandit hunter, Jonathan Wilde (Hugh Bonneville). In this irreverent rereading, Dick is the most famous but also the most improbable of the highwaymen. He owes his success above all to his charm, his showmanship and his beautiful hair. Surrounded by his gang of thieves, Dick faces the hazards of his new missions and his fame, while trying to escape the clutches of the leader of the bandit hunters.

Ellie White, Marc Wootton, Duayne Boachie, Hugh Bonneville, Tamsin Greig complete the cast.

The first two episodes of Dick Turpin will be available on March 1, followed by an episode every Friday until March 29.
