Loki Season 2’s storyline could allow Marvel to bring back any dead person from the MCU. Even Robert Downey Jr.? Tom Hiddleston has his own idea on the matter.
At the beginning of the month, an article from Variety assured that Marvel has already thought about an Avengers film which would bring together the original Avengers, including Iron Man and Black Widow, although they died in Avengers: Endgame. Shortly after, Kevin Feige weakly denied a possible return of Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson in the shoes of the deceased superheroes. But the events of season 2 of Loki, and more particularly the last episode, could pave the way for resurrections, even temporary, in the MCU. Guest of the show The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Tom Hiddleston was asked if Loki could, for example, go looking for Tony Stark in the past, given that he can now move at will in time. “ This is investigative journalism! », laughed the actor, before responding that this new power gives “ technically Loki has the ability to do interesting things (…) I imagine so, since he can go to the past, present and future (…) But I don’t know if other characters are capable of it (…) I only speak for myself but Loki died several times » in the MCU. “ And I’m still here.
