We will still have to wait a little before discovering the programming of Even Not Fear, the international fantasy film festival in Reunion, but here is already its poster. Organized each year in Saint-Philippe by filmmaker Aurélia Mengin, the festival will be held from February 21 to 24, 2024. The event, centered on the genre, will allow us to take the temperature of fantastic cinema. “ For 14 years, the Even Not Fear Festival has been committed with passion and determination to previewing in Reunion Island daring independent international short and feature films, free films, films which have freed themselves from claustrophobic norms to experiment with new forms of cinema », writes its director in a press release. “ A true ambassador of committed auteur cinema, Even Not Fear campaigns for a volcanic cinema, by programming courageous and rare works that keep cinema alive, and fights fervently not to reduce films to commercial objects. So meet from February 21 to 24 at the Henri Madoré cinema in the town of Saint-Philippe, to experience together 4 days of fantastic, aesthetic, excessive, gripping, poetic, sensual, magical cinema… A cinema that can be breathed, tasted and vibrates intensely! »
