Drama on the set of a Marvel: a Wonder Man technician dies

The series led by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is due to begin production for Disney Plus next month.

This will be the next television event in the Marvel Universe. Wonder Man will introduce Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Watchmen) in the shoes of Simon Williams aka Wonder Man, another comic book superhero.

Filming is due to begin next month, but production is already overshadowed by the tragic death of one of the team members.

A set technician (whose identity has not been revealed) in charge of constructing equipment (scaffolding, lighting, cabling, etc.) suffered a fatal fall. He fell from the metal beams at CBS Radford Studios in Los Angeles yesterday morning.

“Our thoughts and deepest condolences go to his family and friends, and we support the investigation into the circumstances of this accident”comments Marvel in a press release.

We do not yet know the exact circumstances that led to this fatal accident.
