Dune 2: a video focus on Austin Butler and his villain character
The actor plays Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, a relentless killer and formidable enemy of Paul Atreides.
As part of the promotion of Dune: Part TwoWarner Bros. released a short video introducing the character of Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, played by Austin Butler. In the first version of Dune of David Lynchthis formidable killer, winner of a hundred bladed duels, was played by the singer Sting. The climax of the film’s final act pitted Feyd-Rautha and Paul Atreides in single combat.
All the actors who participated in Dune are unanimous in saying thatAustin Butler is terrifying in the skin of his new character. “Austin is a very kind and adorable person, who manages to transform into this demonic beast“, tell Zendaya, who plays the character of Chani. Chalamet who plays the main role of Paul Atréides says that his playing partner “left battered and bruised”.
