Dune 2 will be “more of an action film” than the first, promises Denis Villeneuve
The director wants to “strengthen” his game.
If Dune by Denis Villeneuve has left you unmoved, Dune 2 could correct the situation. In an interview given to Total Filmthe Canadian director explains that “ the first film was more meditative and contemplative. We followed a young man who discovered a new planet, a new culture. The second film… It’s more of an action film than the first. It’s more muscular. »
This direct sequel will explore the legendary journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while plotting revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Having to choose between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he strives to prevent a terrible future that only he can predict.
Postponed due to the actors’ strike (it was supposed to be on our screens on November 1st) Dune: second part will finally be released in France on February 28. The cast includes Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya and Rebecca Ferguson.
