CBS announced today that the detective series will end in 2024, at the end of season 14 which will have 18 episodes. It will be cut in two: 10 will be broadcast in spring 2024 (from Friday February 16) and the last eight will be broadcast next fall.

Blue Bloods still attracts an average of 9.4 million viewers and remains a sure bet for CBS. But the story has come to an end.
