On January 1st, Jeremy Renner passed under a snow plow on his property. A terrible accident which almost cost him his life and which required long months of convalescence. Step by step, the actor‘Avengers has regained the use of his legs and to celebrate the transition to 2024, Jeremy Renner shared the good news: his rehabilitation is coming to an end. He will be able to go back to filming!

While appearing on Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper’s show for New Year’s Eve, the star announced: “It’s been a wonderfully busy year… But I think I’m ready and I think I’m strong enough to start again. I’m going back literally in a week.”

Concretely, Jeremy Renner will film the third season of Mayor of Kingstownthe series broadcast in France on Disney Plus.

Unexpected exactly a year ago, when the actor was between life and death. “We have a lot to celebrate this year”, emphasized Renner. “I am so lucky to have so much to live for. I have a giant family, a 10 year old daughter. I would have disappointed and ruined a lot of people’s lives if I hadn’t gotten out! There are many things I have to fight for. In my mind, recovery is a one-way street. I still work hard every day.”
