Fargo season 5: two first powerful teasers with Jon Hamm and Juno Temple

The Mad Men star plays a nasty sheriff, and the Ted Lasso actress plays a not-so-ordinary housewife.

“Who do I have to kill to get coffee?”request Jon Hamm (Mad Men, Top Gun: Maverick) by breaking into a diner. “There’s a new cowboy in town”, teases with humor this first video of season 5 of Fargo. An immediately unsympathetic character, who does not hesitate to help himself to a stranger’s plate as he passes.

Juno Temple also has the right to its teaser, short but effective. The actress recently seen in Ted Lasso appears in his kitchen, simmering a delicious dish, quietly on the phone with a loved one. But when the doorbell rings, she doesn’t hesitate to take out a taser and a baseball bat to welcome her “guest”.

FX should then devote this type of short teasers to the other key characters of season 5 of Fargoexpected on the American channel from November 21: Jennifer Jason Leigh (Atypical), Dave Foley (Scrubs) or Lamorne Morris (New Girl) and Joe Keery (Stranger Things) were previously announced to the casting (their costume photos can be seen here).

After four seasons broadcast between 2006 and 2020, telling different stories, but still linked by their absurd humor and their violent situations in the spirit of the Coen brothers’ cult film released in theaters in 1996, this new batch of episodes, still developed by Noah Hawley, will visibly find this same concept. We know that its plot will take place in 2019, and its pitch is as intriguing as possible: “When is a kidnapping not a kidnapping? What if your wife isn’t your wife?”
