James Mangold has started filming A Complete Unknown. Also starring Elle Fanning and Edward Norton.

The project of Bob Dylan biopic had fallen behind schedule, following the extension of the screenwriters' and then actors' strike in Hollywood, but this time, that's it, shooting has started. James Mangold (Logan, Le Mans 66…) was spotted on the streets of New York, leading Timothée Chalametbarely out of the intense promotion of Dune 2in the title role.

First called Going Electricthis biopic retracing the very beginning of the career of the interpreter of “Blowin' in the Wind” was renamed A Complete Unknown. Does Timothée look like his model from the 1960s? The team did not try to transform him physically: no need for prosthetics to modify elements of his face, the actor simply changed his haircut, and he is dressed in the fashion of that decade.
