The animatronic Freddy, who most often takes the form of a teddy bear, will traumatize a new generation of viewers in the game’s first film adaptation, which tells the story of a security guard trapped in Freddy Fazbear’s pizzeria, emblematic place of the first version of the game. He will quickly realize that getting out of this space will not be an easy task…
In the cast, we find Josh Hutcherson, who is making a long-awaited return to the cinema after his role in the television series future-man. At his side, we can also find Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Kat Conner Sterling, as well as Mary Stuart Masterson and Matthew Lillard, who will film under the direction of Emma Tammi, noted for having directed the horror western Cursed Land in 2018. In the script, we also find Scott Cawthon, creator of the original game.
Five Nights at Freddy’s will be released in French cinemas on November 8.
