Dune: Part Two is no longer very far from our cinemas and its amazing casting is enough to make the entire industry blush. Among the many stars present, some were not in the first part. Interviewed with her playing partners by the media Fandango, Florence Pugh presented his character more fully. She plays Princess Irulan, daughter of Emperor Shaddam (Christopher Walken), whose role in the plot still remains mysterious. “She’s in the middle of this dynamic with people trying to gain power or keep it. And I think she withdraws to learn, from her father in particular”, she explains.

Indeed, we do not yet know where this character positions himself in relation to the cause defended by Paul Atréides (Timothée Chalamet) and Chani (Zendaya). “It’s an extremely different character from what I’ve played beforedeclares Florence Pugh. Even though she is strong in her opinions, intelligent and fiery, it never comes out of her. She’s constantly observing, she’s listening and waiting, and I guess she’s making a calculated, internal move. She was trained that way, so in a weird way, I think she’s one of the calmest characters I’ve ever played… But probably the most exciting.
