Foggy and Karen Page would finally be back in Daredevil!
Not planned in the new series, Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson would have been recalled after the “reset” of Daredevil: Born Again.
They were initially ruled out. But they will obviously be entitled to another chance! According to the American press, Deborah Ann Woll And Elden Henson should return to play Karen Page and Foggy Nelson, Matt Murdock’s girlfriend and best friend, in the new series Daredevil.
Major characters of the three seasons on Netflix, they had not been retained by Marvel and Disney Plus, when the studio decided to launch the project Daredevil: Born Againunlike their comrade Charlie Cox, physically integrated into the MCU since Spider-Man No Way Home.
Except that Daredevil: Born Again starts from scratch. The initial concept – whatever it was – was abandoned during construction and a new creative direction was decided. According to The Insneider, this will benefit Deborah Ann Woll And Elden Hensonwho will finally be recalled!
It must be said that Foggy and Karen were technically official Marvel characters, since the Netflix series have always been presented as “apart” but “part” of the universe. They do indeed have their place in the MCU chronology and this therefore offers a chance to Deborah Ann Woll And Elden Henson to re-pile.
That being said, we don’t yet know if they will have main character roles alongside Matt again, or if Disney will just call on them for two or three episodes…
Daredevil: Born Again will have 18 episodes in total. The new series is expected to feature Wilson Fisk/Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) about to be elected mayor of New York, as revealed in the post-credits scene of‘Echo this week.
