Furiosa: the completely insane trailer for the new Mad Max

This will be one of the big events in cinema in 2024. It’s already one of the best trailers of the year 2023! Warner Bros. unveiled last night the first trailer for Furiosa (see below), the new film from George Miller in the universe of Mad Max. A prequel to Fury Roadin which Anya Taylor-Joy takes over the role of Furiosaheld by Charlize Theron in 2015. And it promises to be simply breathtaking.

Miller’s post-apo dystopian world will be more sumptuous than ever, judging by this first trailer, which reveals excerpts of hyper-spectacular sequences, around completely demented characters, including one Chris Hemsworth totally crazy, absolutely unrecognizable.

The pitch? “In a world in decline, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Earth of the Countless Mothers and captured by a horde of bikers led by the fearsome warlord, Dementus. Crossing the Wasteland, they discover the Citadel ruled by Immortan Joe. As the two tyrants vie for dominance, Furiosa must overcome many challenges to find her way home.”

AlongsideAnya Taylor-Joy and of Chris Hemsworthwe will also see Alyla Browne and Tom Burke in the cast. George Miller returned to directing and wrote the screenplay with the co-writer of Fury RoadNico Lathouris. Furiosa will be released in France on May 22, 2024 in cinemas.
