Géraldine Nakache: “The meeting between Spirou and Fantasio does not exist in the original comic strip”

Géraldine Nakache, Charlotte Gabris and Vincent Desagnat tell us about their version of Spirou. See you again this evening on C8.

Released in early 2018 in cinemas, The Adventures of Spirou and Fantasio will be rebroadcast this Sunday on television. Première had met part of his team at the Alpe d’Huez comedy festival. We are sharing this interview again for the sake of patience.

As the actors of the film straight away tell us, The Adventures of Spirou and Fantasio is above all a chase, an adventure film with no other ambition than to entertain. With a fairly daring starting idea: offering an origin story to the characters created by Rob-Vel. Director Alexandre Coffre, offers a film surely more aimed at young children than at real fans of the comic strip who risk being a little taken aback by this script choice. Fortunately, the film remains visually very close to the spirit of the original Spirou and Alex Lutz very funny in Fantasio.
