Glamor and stars galore in the Palm Royale trailer
The new “Desperate Housewives” series coming to Prime Video in the spring.
Welcome to the most exclusive club in Palm Beach! Apple TV+ has just revealed the trailer for Palm Royaleits new event series, a drama like “Desperate Housewives” where Kristen Wiighelped by Ricky Martinwill try to find a place in the sun, in the extremely wealthy Californian high society, led by Allison Janney and in which they navigate Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinson And Laura Dern. This series loosely based on the novel “Mr. and Mrs. American Pie” by Juliet McDaniel, will also introduce the very glamorous Kaia Gerberdaughter of Cindy Crawford and companion of Austin Butler in the city, who landed his first important role there.
The pitch: “Maxine Simmons attempts to break into Palm Beach high society. As Maxine attempts to cross that impermeable line between the haves and the have-nots, Palm Royale asks the same question that still baffles us today: How much of yourself are you willing to sacrifice to get what someone else has? Set during the year 1969, Palm Royale is a testament to the struggle of all underdogs, for a chance to make it big .”
The first three episodes of Palm Royale will be released on March 20, followed by a new episode every Wednesday until May 8, for a total of 10 episodes.
